MARES
“Chapera” – 2005 Hanoverian Mare
Chapera is by the Hanoverian stallion Comic Hilltop FRH. A dressage stallion himself, Comic Hilltop (owned by Jochen Brinkmann) is sired by Come On, an FEI level jumper owned and ridden by Princess Haya of Jordan. Fit for a royalty too, Chapera is a queen in our stable — she competed in the 1.20ms jumpers and dressage Level 3, she is a teacher for all, while also the dam of: Charmony (Seattle), Chapman (Vanouver Island), Quidam’s Charmeur (for sale), and now her youngest, Carmelo (for sale).

“Quinla” – 2011 Hanoverian Mare
Quinla is by our own stallion Quidam Blue. Her dam line goes back to our original mare-line starting with Ravenna by Romadour II, still in Germany, 6 mare generations ago. Quinla herself has been lightly ridden undersaddle — she has top quality gaits and lovely rideability. Her sporty attitude has been passed to her offspring: Leaf (Vancouver Island), Comic (Ontario), Casparo’s Champ (Florida), Chiquitita, and her most recent filly born in 2024.

“Palmyra” – 2014 Canadian Sport Horse Mare
Palmyra is by our own stallion Portland L, and similarly out of our previously owned line Goldwing, by Grosso Gold. She is the dam of Mr. Lou by Montender — creating similar lineage as 2019s #1 FEI Longines World Ranking “Tovek’s Mary Lou.” We are excited about this bloodline, with a feisty and world class competitive attitude. Palmyra has been ridden under saddle and she is the dam of Mr. Lou, and a beautiful little colt born in 2024 by Casparo.

“Chinook” – 2016 Canadian Sport Horse Gelding
Chinook is noticeably by Casparo, with his gorgeous grey with black mane. Chinook has consistently won prizes at competitions, he is showing 1.20 m and schooling the 1.30 m level. You may have seen Chinook as a demo horse for the CSH John and Beezie Madden clinic. He represented Canadian Sport Horses again, at the recent Andrew Bourns demo clinic with rider Kennedy Ellingson.

“Quidam’s Charmeur” – 2018 Hanoverian Gelding
“Charmeur” takes after both his sire Quidam Blue and dam Chapera. He is a versatile young horse and impresses daily with his presence and style. He has already built a fan base at his first show. We gauge him fully capable for the high-level equitation rings, as he already seems to be taking after his sister “Charm:” 2x Maclay finalist with a junior and consistently 3-ring competitive throughout the USA and Canada. You may have spotted Charmeur this 2024 show season under Kennedy Ellingson; he is easy to spot with his silver coloured tail!

“Quality Time” – 2019 Hanoverian Gelding
“Quality” is more than a fitting name for this young gelding, as it describes him through and through. He is sired by Quidam Blue, and is out of dam Cocomo by Capone I. He has a world class pedigree, a gentle demeanor. He is showing with Beke Brinkmann in the Young Horse classes and we are enjoying watching his progress!

“Mr. Lou” – 2019 Westphalian (Licensed) Stallion
Mr. Lou is sired by Montender, and is out of Palmyra by Portland L. His bloodlines are proven and extremely promising. Tovek’s Mary Lou (2019 Ranked Longines FEI #1 in World Show Jumping) is bred Montendro x Portland L. We are excited to add “Mr. Lou” to our stallion barn. He is wonderful to ride, currently in training, and will debut at his first shows after the breeding season.

“Carmelo” – 2020 Canadian Warmblood Gelding
“Carmelo” is tall, flashy, and will make your head turn. His pedigree is Casparo x Chapera (Comic Hilltop FRH), which is a pedigree combination you’ve likely seen on our webpage already. He will follow in the footsteps of his siblings Charmony, and Chapman, that are competing in high level equitation circuits. His sweet personality is a joy to work with!

“Kyiv” – 2022 Hanoverian Filly
This stunning filly is by Karajan out of Quinla, by Quidam Blue. Karajan’s phenomenal pedigree carries three Olympic fathers, who dominate international show jumping. Quidam Blue jumped at the 1.60m International level himself.
Kyiv has recently been awarded ‘Gold Medal’ status by the Hanoverian Society during the Hanoverian Foal inspections.

“Elvis” – Unknown Birth-year, Minature Gelding
“Elvis” might be out of a Thelwell cartoon, but really he moved to our farm when his previous owner, Lisa, made the big move to New Zealand. Elvis has the majorly-important job of being cute, being a companion pasture horse for our other retirees, and a secret behind awesome photoshoots of the other horses.
