Flex Junior is an Irish Sport Horse stallion combining two of the world’s best jumper bloodlines, his sire Flexible with the famous Contender on his dam side .  With rider/ owner Balance In Motion (Josefina Kaderabek), Flex Junior participated in demonstration with John & Beezie Madden (pictured left).

An accident as a young horse may limit the show career of Flex Junior however has displayed great attitude and willingness to work while kept in light training under saddle. In many ways he is a copy of his sire, his body type and looks as well as his energetic approach and the love of a challenge.

His sire Flexible needs no introduction. With his rider Rich Fellers he competed at the highest level level in show jumping . The pair took part in six World Cup Finals, winning in 2012, placing second in 2008 and in 2015, at the wonderful age of  nineteen years,  still placed seventh!  His career highlights also include a sixth place at the London Olympics 2016 and 3 x wins in the Calgary Grand Prixs.

Flex Junior’s dam Contessa Diablo competed in Europe successfully at the 1.45 m divisions before being imported to Canada winning many ribbons with her young rider.  Contessa Diablo is by the Holstein stallion Contender,one of the most influential jumper sires internationally.
